Everything You Need To Know About Glitter Lip Gloss

December 29, 2022

Who doesn't like a little bit of glitz and glamour? Lips that sparkle and glitter have never been more on-trend than they are, which is good news for anybody looking for an excuse to add sparkle to their beauty routine. And as it turns out, you may achieve this dazzling glitter lip gloss cosmetic trend with the swipe of a single product, a glitter lip gloss, or you can make it by stacking gorgeous glitters on top of essential lip items. Both methods are described in the following paragraphs. Are you prepared to give your pout a dazzling glitter lip gloss makeover?

How to wear glitter lips

Are you ready to give this glitter lip gloss trend a shot? Here are a few different ways to sport lips covered with glitter.

Option #1: glitter lip gloss

As was noted earlier, glitter lip gloss is one of the most user-friendly and well-liked methods to experiment with glitter lips.

First, give your lip some colour. Although this step is not required, we think glitter lip gloss looks best when applied with a lip colour beforehand. You should consider colouring your lips with one of the matte tones available in the Rouge Signature collection.

The second step is to complete it. Bring on the sparkling confetti! If you want a glittering look, put our finest glitter lip gloss over your lipstick. It comes in three different tones; you may choose whichever one you like most.

Option #2: loose glitter

Do you want to make a statement with your glittery lips? Cosmetic glitter will be your best friend when you want your lips to sparkle even more.

Step #1: Paint your lip. When colouring your lips, apply a liquid lipstick slightly thicker than you usually would. This will help the glitter attach to your lips better.

Step #2:

1. Grab your glitter.

2. Tap a little quantity of loose glitter (one suitable for your lips) into the lid of its container.

3. Apply some liquid lip primer using a small makeup brush, then top with the loose glitter. This will allow you to pick up glitter and apply it on your lips faultlessly.

Step 3: Keep pressing and doing it again. To apply the glitter:

1. Press the brush against your lips in a circular motion.

2. Repeat the steps of adding liquid lip primer to your makeup brush, dipping it in glitter, and applying glitter to your lips by pressing it on.

3. Repeat this process until your lips are completely covered with glitter.

Antioxidants and sun protection

Because so many people interested in beauty desire to find items that may serve several purposes and preserve their skin, numerous lip glosses have been developed to act as protective agents for the lips.

It is common for companies to fortify their glosses with vitamins E and C and nutrient-dense extracts derived from plants and fruits to shield the lips from possible harm caused by free radicals and to maintain the skin's collagen and suppleness.

In addition, sun blockers are often used to further protect the lips from the damaging effects of the sun and UV radiation.
